Panelfilters are used in industries to retain particles range from 1 micronto 50 micron. These filters are basically air intake filters, which isworking with negative pressure of systems. These filters are furtherclassified as.

Prefilters are used for coarse filtration for removal of particles inrange of 10 to 50 micron. Primary filters retain coarse particles toavoid further loading on secondary filters & enhance life ofsecondary filter. Primary filters are cleanable in nature to obtaingood self life.
